MCPA 2024 Board of Director Nominations

Submit your nominations for the MCPA Board and District Boards By 5PM on 5/31/24

The MCPA is currently accepting nominations for:

MCPA Board of Directors:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • At Large Member

 MCPA District Board Openings: (District 1, 3, 5, 7)

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • District Representative to MCPA Board
  • Alternate Representative to MCPA Board

Election Process:
MCPA Bylaws will be followed to protect the integrity of the election process.

Please read the following information if you are considering running for office, nominating someone for office, and/or voting for these offices, whether in person or by absentee ballot.

Eligibility Requirements:
Nominees must be MCPA members in good standing for at least one (1) year immediately preceding nomination, and must be licensed and practicing in Missouri.

Important Note:  No person shall be eligible to any elective office who has not been a member in good standing for at least one (1) year immediately preceding nomination and must be licensed and practicing in Missouri. No member is eligible to the office of President or Vice-President who has not served at least two (2) years of the five (5) preceding years prior to the election on the Board of Directors of this Association. Any officer of this Association, who during a term of office, may become a member of the Board of Directors of a chiropractic school or college, or who may become a member of the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, automatically loses his elective office. No officer at large shall succeed in office except the Secretary.

  •  Nomination Guidelines:
    Nomination letters or emails must be filed with the state office no later than Friday, May 31, 2024.
  • Nominations must be accompanied by a letter from the nominee accepting the nomination.
  • Nominees will be put on the ballot alphabetically.
  • Elections will be held at the MCPA Summer Convention General Membership Meeting at Branson Hilton in Branson, Missouri.
  • There will be no floor nominations at Summer Convention.

Voting Eligibility:

  • MCPA members must have their dues paid in full or have paid the preceding four (4) quarters of their dues to be eligible to vote at summer convention.
  • Associate, student and honorary members shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.
  • Absentee Ballots:
    Any member who will be unable to attend the summer convention may request an Official Absentee Ballot from the State Office at any time prior to Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
  • Official ballots must be returned to the MCPA Office no later than Thursday, July 11, 2024.
  • Ballots will not be opened until voting closes at the summer convention.
